W. Douglas Snow President, CEO Mr. Snow joined Beehive Insurance Agency in 1979 and is currently serving as the President and General Manager. Mr. Snow speicalizes in providing coverage and surety bonds for the construction industry as well as all other lines of commercial insurance coverage.

Dennis Dunbar Operations Manager Dennis is currently the Operations Manager for Beehive insurance, having joined the agency in May 2007. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Utah, and began working in the Insurance Industry in 1985. Dennis worked 22 years for a local insurance agency, and the last 17 of those 22 years were in the capacity of controller as a part of the agency management team.

Randall J. Austin Senior Account Executive Rand began his insurance career in 1974 as an assistant truck and aviation insurance underwriter. After gaining experience in the transportation and aviation areas of insurance, he became an agent and joined the agency ranks in 1977. Rand has specialized in the transportation insurance industry since that time serving an impressive list of clients in Utah and surrounding states. Rand has a passion for customer service and enjoys serving with organizations such as the Utah Trucking Association. Rand is considered an expert in the transportation insurance industry.

Mark J. Austin Senior Account Executive Mark has been specializing in truck insurance since 1995. An Economics graduate from the University of Utah, Mark has focused his career in providing insurance coverage for trucking companies of all sizes by giving them advise regarding the unique exposures related to the trucking industry.

Aaron Griffith Senior Account Executive Aaron Griffith began his insurance career in 1995 while still in college. After graduating with a bachelors degree in Economics he signed on with The Hartford Insurance company specializing in small business insurance. In September of 2002 He joined Beehive insurance because of their many years of experience and broad presence in the market place. Aaron’s focus has expanded to include small and medium sized businesses providing all types of liability, workers compensation, commercial auto and bonding.

James H. Dickson Senior Account Executive James H. Dickson is third generation in the insurance business. After graduating from the U of U with degrees in finance and management, Jim worked at Affiliated Insurance from 1983 until Affiliated merged with Wells Fargo/Acordia in July 2000. Jim joined Beehive Insurance July 1, 2003. He works extensively with trucking companies and steel fabricators, as well as general and trade contractors. Additionally, Jim handles non-profit organizations, homeowner associations, and property management companies as well as handling specialty lines such as errors & omission liability, directors & officer liability, and fiduciary liability. He handles all aspects of his client’s insurance programs including workers compensation, group health and key-man life plans.

L. Kay Howland Senior Account Executive Kay began his own property and casualty insurance agency in 1989 at Sorensen Insurance Agency. He moved his agency to Grant-Hatch & Associates in 1996. Kay spent another 5 years running and operating his own agency, Granite Insurance Group, Inc. before joining Beehive Insurance in October of 2006. Kay has received his Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) designation from the National Alliance for Insurance Education. Kay has served as President of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America of Salt Lake and is currently serving on the Utah State Board of that Association as president-elect. Kay specializes in writing insurance for manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors. He also specializes in writing Management Liability Insurance.

D. Cory Payne Senior Account Executive Cory started helping insurance clients in 1979. Cory specializes in business insurance, marketing difficult to place business (Liability, Property, Commercial Auto, Directors and Officers, and Errors and Ommissions Coverage) with a variety of insurance carriers. He is a past president of the Utah Association of Independent Insurance Agents (2000-2001) and has served as a member of the board of directors from 1997-2002.

Susan R. Smith Senior Account Executive Susan worked in various positions in the insurance industry for the past 25 years. She joined Beehive in 1998 as a producer, specializing in Non-Profit commerical insurance coverage including Non-Profit Director and Officer Liability.

Brandon Marchant Account Executive Brandon graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Utah. He joined Beehive Insurance in the Summer of 2006 and enjoys the challenge of providing insurance for small and medium sized businesses. Brandon’s focus is on general liability, property, commercial auto, and worker’s compensation insurance.

Cory D. Ford Commercial Account Executive Corey joined Beehive on 8/25/08 as a full-time Commercial Account Executive, selling insurance products to businesses, and focusing on companies that are vendors and associates of the Clyde Companies. He comes to Beehive with 20+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with such well-known companies as Marketstar/Cisco Systems/RIM (blackberry), and Franklin Covey Co. Corey has been married for 23 years to his wife, Cynthia, and they have 5 children.

Sandy Price Personal Lines Customer Service Agent Sandy Price joined Beehive Insurance Agency in 2006. Sandy has worked in the insurance industry for 35 years on both the company and the agency level. Her focus is on personal lines with an emphasis on high net individual helping them protect their personal assets.

Todd Valentine Senior Account Executive Todd joined Beehive Insurance in April 2009 as the Employee Benefits Specialist. Prior to joining Beehive Todd was the Vice President of Employee Benefits for WillisHRH of Colorado, where he specialized in group health insurance for businesses across the country. He graduated with a degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, and has received his Chartered Benefits Consultant (CBC) designation from the National Association of Alternative Benefit Consultants. Todd handles all lines of insurance supporting human capital management for business owners including; Group and Individual Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability Insurance.

Jared Davidson Account Executive Jared joined Beehive Insurance in August 2009. Jared is a specialist in commercial insurance with experience in construction and transportation risks. He has been licensed in Utah since 1994. Jared attended BYU in 1981 and the University of Utah from 1984 to 1988. Jared previously worked in the transportation industry as operations manager for Pack Transport, Inc. Jared has been married to his wife Carrie for 19 years, and they have 4 children.
